The Friendship Circle opened their arms and hearts up to us since the day we joined six years ago.

As most of you know and have experienced, having friends is a struggle for an individual with special needs. The Friendship Circle programs are so successful for Valerie because she is paired with a teen volunteer to "hang out" with and this means a lot to her. Valerie has been very happy attending these programs and is excited to go. And if Valerie is happy, then all the Carter’s are happy.

Valerie has participated in most of the programs offered: Sunday Circles, Loaves of Love, Swimming Circles, Color Run, Saturday Night Out, Winter Camp, Summer Camp, Cooking Circles, Hanging with Friends, and Art Club, to name a few...

The Friendship Circle provides acceptance, friendship, support, hope, happiness, and independence!

This cause is very dear to me, and I'll appreciate all the support I can get!
